My name is Katerina Damm!
I am a recent college grad from Point Park University and I am signed with FireStarter Entertainment.
I was first introduced to theater by my mom, whose love for the art form brought her from Bulgaria to the United States. She took me to our local 'Shakespeare in the Park' performances and from then on I was hooked. My dad and his love for music brought me to dance and piano and I soon discovered that I wanted to dedicate my life to storytelling.
As mentioned, I adore Shakespeare and all things classical, including Opera, but I also love telling contemporary stories and connecting to audiences through recognizable characters. I believe that it is the actor's job to honor the experiences of the world and to help people from different backgrounds find new perspectives and cathartic release. I can't wait to tell stories and make memories with you!
All About Me
I love staying active and am always on the search to try something new. I regularly go to the gym, run, bike, and dance. Outside of my routine, I have tried sky diving, acro-yoga, aerial silks, jet skiing, scuba diving, rock climbing, and more! I love traveling and being outside in nature.
I enjoy painting, working with makeup, reading, writing music, playing piano, journaling, and participating with my local Bulgarian community. I am fascinated by sign language and Deaf culture and am always seeking to learn more about this beautiful and artful language. I have also worked as a character performer for various princess companies for 6+ years now and enjoy interacting with children greatly.
